The purpose of this webpage is to provide information and links for fishermen about Lake Ouachita fishing, 
articles about fishing and bass fishing reports and upcoming tournaments.

For anglers, LakeOuachita is well-known for its prolific fishing opportunities, especially for striped bass and largemouth bass fishing.  It consistently ranks in the top 10 nationally for largemouth bass fishing.  Lake Ouachita is known for hosting major national bass and striped bass tournaments regularly.

Lake Ouachita is also very well known for its striped bass fishing.  There have been in recent years, a number of nationally recognized striper tournaments held on the lake.

Did you know that Lake Ouachita also features trout fishing during the colder months?  The Game and Fish Commission has started stocking rainbow trout below Lake Ouachita, Lake Hamilton and Lake Greeson.  These stockings will last through March of 2010 and occur every two weeks.
